Do you ever wonder what happens to those socks in the laundry you simply never find again?. At <\/span>Simply Laundry<\/span><\/a>, we took the liberty of performing some due diligence into understanding  the different possibilities of where these socks missing might have gone and also came up with solutions to this huge mystery. Here are our findings:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After diligent due diligence, here are the explanations we came up with for this phenomena<\/span>:<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

1) The sock never made it into the washing machine in the first place and is still hiding somewhere, perhaps behind the hamper or somehwere the dog placed it<\/span>!<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2) The little sock might still be hiding in the space between the drum and the tub<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3) The sock got stuck in the vent ducting or the the dryer filter<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4) The sock has so much static power that it clung to another article of clothing to avoid being worn by your sexy feet<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5) There is a fifth dimension, where aliens feed off our socks! That’s what we call the Sock Conspiracy Theory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are our solutions:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1) Use a mesh lingerie bag- first, place a mesh bag beside the laundry hamper so that you can place all your dirty socks into the bag (Note: Make sure to inform everyone in your home of this new policy!). Second, When it comes time to wash, close the mesh bag and place it into your washing machine. This way, you’ll ensure that all your socks are being washed together and have no chance of escaping lol. Note: this is a very effective system for those little extra-sneaky baby socks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2) Streamline- buy lots and lots of the same color socks. To differentiate ownerhsip, choose bulk socks with colors, logos and designs specific to each size<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3) Pin- pin all your socks with a safety pin before washing<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4) Just Say No More- don’t wash anymore of your socks. Give them away to a charity and keep on buying new socks<\/span>.<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5) Ignore it- just start wearing mismatched socks and tell your friends thats the new trend and they should jump onboard.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
