For all you EDM fans out there, this is one event you do not want to miss! <\/span>The 4<\/span>th<\/span> Annual VELD Music Festival<\/a> <\/span>, one of Canada\u2019s biggest EDM festivals, is all set to take place next weekend on 1<\/span>st<\/span> and 2<\/span>nd<\/span> August at Downsview Park in Toronto.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bringing together over 30 internationally acclaimed EDM acts, this year goes one up from last year\u2019s lineup. There\u2019s a power-packed lineup including artists like Hardwell, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki and <\/span>so many more<\/a> <\/span>! <\/span><\/span>This allows to take your pick among the various artists and plan your days ahead of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

As quick tips to make the most of the two days, make sure you are appropriately equipped for the weather. Since the festival will take place irrespective of rain or shine, you will be thankful that you carried that sunscreen for the scorching sun or the extra jacket for a chilly evening. Make sure you are also on your a-game at night in terms of energy levels; going by previous editions, nighttime is when the big guns come out so be sure to rest and relax in the afternoon in time for the real party!   <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Remember that there is no camping available at the park and no allowance for overnight parking at the festival. It is also recommended that you use public transport to travel to and from the venue to avoid parking hassles. Also be sure to take a quick look at the <\/span>prohibited items<\/span> to ensure you don\u2019t part with your prized belongings. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
