Colors are essential for any look, and as much as we all love experimenting with a bunch of colors, each season has it’s color it dies by. However, each year these colors may drastically change!
Winter color trends for 2017-2018 ranged from metallic, pantone to reds and oranges. We saw a wide range of colors during the Paris, Milan, London and New York fashion shows, and this is exactly where the trends emerge from.
The trendiest colors for the 2017-2018 winter are as follows:
Silver
Let’s start off with the metallic color that we were most excited for, SILVER. This contemporary yet chic color doesn’t shout to us as an everyday wear, however, we believe that it’s becoming huge this season. We are expecting to see this color shine at formal events in fitted gowns and shoes. Big names such as Chanel donned a piece that wasn’t formal but shouted out high fashion. So, we are excited to see what type of a take people have on this trend.
Pink
Different hues from the pink family were all the rage this fashion season. The endless color options are usually associated with candy, which intrigues us more to indulge into this shade. From raspberry to cherry pink and everything that exists in between, we saw all sorts of pink from Gucci, Valentino and Balenciaga etc. The unusual gowns had a unique touch to them with high necks and ruffles. If you ask us there was no stopping this time, the designers went all in.
Klein Blue
The chrome obsession isn’t quite over yet, if you are looking for something to add to your closet that will give it a modern twist. Then we would suggest that you go for the slender silhouettes and well-structured pieces to add to your wardrobe. Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Saint Laurent were some of the names to push this trend the further mile.
Red
We are suckers for red, always have been. So, no matter which season we’re discussing, we believe that red always looks good, without a doubt. Alexander McQueen, Prada and Giambattista Valli gave the elegant red a new face by making it look more fresh and modern. If you are looking for a cool girl vibe, then we can assure you that red is the right shade for you this season.
Yellow
The ever favorite yellow is making a comeback yet again; this pop of color will add zest and freshness to your overall look. Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Loewe were some of the designers to showcase this color on the runway.
Navy
This is more of an everyday color to compliment your everyday look. This could be your go to color in winter 2017-2018.
Orange
If you want to look unique, fresh and bright then this might be the ‘it’ color for you this season. We are saying loud, burnt oranges are going to make a debut on the streets without a doubt.
Beige
Looking for something casual yet chic and feminine? Go for the sophisticated and retro beige to give your overall look the grace that it needs. Moschino and Michael Kors showcased this color for their winter collections.
