The Milkman is Not Dead
Once upon a time, not too long ago, there existed a group of very important people called the milkman. These milkmen had a very simple role but were vital to their respective communities. They prided themselves in great customer care, reliability and delivering convenience and quality products right to their customers' footsteps. During a time where the refrigerator was only beginning to flourish in popularity, the milk men allowed children, elders, the guy-caught- in-his-midlife-crisis, the expecting mom and even the cat to receive the nutrients they required. But then refrigerators continued to grow in a popularity, people started purchasing bags of milk, and then stopped ordering milk daily. One by one the thousands of milkmen were being replaced by new and better technology. Eventually, the milkmen died.
But the funny thing about technology is that it's a two-edged swords. It destroys but it also spawns new life.
The milkman is not dead; they've returned. Resurrected by the "Internet-of-things" and the growing desire for on-demand services, the milkmen have adopted their skills to fit this new era. They still pride themselves in great customer service, reliability and bringing convenience right to their customers' footsteps. The only thing that has changed is that the milkmen have learnt how to deliver Chinese food, late night food, fresh groceries, socks, and now, even your own clean clothes.
Simply Laundry is in the business of creating and empowering the 21st century's laundry milkman. Nothing except the product being delivered has changed. Instead of delivering milk, our laundry milkmen can now pick-up your dirty business suit, tracksuit and jumpsuit, and deliver your clean ones back to you. We still pride ourselves in great customer service, reliability and bringing convenience right to our customers front door. The milkmen are not dead. They've even learnt the trade of picking up and delivering laundry.
