In a recent exercise, the Simply Laundry Team spoke with several working professionals in a bid to understand how and where do they spend their 24 hours. This pool of people largely covered professions such as Investment Bankers, Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Business Analysts. Here’s the time schedule typically followed by this pool:
6.30AM to 7.00AM: Spent in activities at the Gym OR fitness centers.
7.00AM to 8.00AM: Spent in activities such as catching up on emails during the night from clients or team-members based in different time zones, getting dressed for work and breakfast.
8.15AM to 9.00AM: Spent in commuting to work.
9.00AM to 7.00PM: Spent at work. For the Investment Bankers, the day ended late in the evening, on average, at 10PM.
7.00PM to 7.45PM: Spent in catching up with friends.
8.00PM to 9.00PM: Spent in activities such as dinner and answering after work emails.
9.00PM to 11.00PM: Spent in leisure activities such as catching up on the TV shows, gaming, and reading books.
Day end at 11.00PM
People we spoke with said that they preferred doing laundry at the weekends but hated having to waste precious time that they could have otherwise enjoyed doing things that they love.
